Wilderness Engineering Kindershuttle

Marmot Mountain

The Kindershuttle version is constructed the same, but instead of a large duffle bay, it sports a padded child seat with a 3-point safety harness designed for up to a 60 lb. child. Even if the sled tips the child is held in the center of the sled. A windscreen made of 1000 Denier nylon Cordura and a roll up clear -42 F cold crack vinyl view screen protects the child in the worst of weather. A Chrome-moly steel tube supports the canopy and acts as a tip bar preventing the sled from rolling. A large top vent exhausts moist air, and there is a zippered 2000+ cu. in. storage area for a diaper bag, thermos etc. The sled can pull anything you put into it including teenagers and adults. It weighs about 12 lbs. and quickly breaks down for transportation in any car. We have even seen people skating at the ski area pulling one of these.
