It works for me | |

Bought this vest in the fall of 2008 and have used it a lot since then. It works well in the spring, cool summer camping mornings and evenings, in the autumn, and even indoors in winter if you keep your house on the cool side (low 60's). I have worn it hiking in on-and-off rain for hours with just a light wool layer underneath and stayed comfortable. Sizing is also good for me (XS fits my petite, 5'2'' 100 lbs. frame very nicely). Not too bulky, but can still layer over fleece or wool tops. In short, the Redpoint vest is a very versatile piece, well-worth the investment.

Nice light weight vest ~ Great for layering. Not for super cold days but great with sweater or hoodie underneath. I had to get the redpoint due to allergies to down. This vest has no down in it.

Like all North Face stuff, it's great. The fit is just snug enough to keep you warm without being binding. Stylish and warm. Always a good choice. I don't always like wearing a long sleeved jacket so this is a perfect option. Great over my just my base layer or lightweight shirt. I have several and love them all.

Lightweight, Cute and Warm!

I got the moonlight ivory and the color's perfect because it's neutral and can go with a lot of different colors. This is my first North Face item and first order with backcountry but certainly won't be the last.

Got this for the gf since it's a lightweight vest. It's not puffy, but it's still pretty warm while layering. The black is not a solid black...there's a faint grid pattern if you look at it up close.

I love the vest. It was worth it with the free shipping. I don't know if I would wear it for below 30 degree weather. But definitely nice with a fleece liner when it gets below 60.

| Nice vest for colder, windy days of golf in Florida! Medium fit---usually vests are way too big for me. Whites are hard to find. | |

| This vest is attractive over a t-shirt or turtleneck or on winter days under a coat. | |
