| The ability to correct for magnetic variation sets this compass ahead of the pack. Who wants to do ANY additional math when you are trying to find your next waypoint? Easy to read. Accurate. Every feature you need to get from A to B. I used this during a seven day military survival course, and my navigation buddy never took his military issue compass out of his pack. He only wanted to use mine! If you are doing ANY land navigation, military OR civilian... Don't settle. | |

| Works extremely well, very accurate, easy to use, and solidly built. The only thing that would be nice is a little bit slimmer package, it's a little thick. But other than that it works extremely well and is very accurate. I particularly like the clinometer, it allows you to brag to your friends about that 70 degree hill you clambered up. | |
