Give away your closet full of lids and get your head into the POC Receptor+ Helmet. This meticulously engineered helmet passes certifications for snow, bike, skateboarding, and kayaking. Lets see your hardhat do all that. POC’s patent-pending ballistic Aramid penetration barrier and double-shell system merge the benefits of in-mold and hard-shell technologies, so the Receptor+ can withstand multiple small impacts, and it crushes to absorb the force of a catastrophic crash.

The POC design team definitely deserve credit for the smooth lines and for cramming a lot of very legit tech into this lid (and all their other helmets as well). Very nice looking 'met. That being said though, the sheer versatility comes at the cost of weight, and size--this helmet will look undeniably massive if you've got a smallish, and/or skinny noggin.

Its hard to convey how great this helemt is. I've tried almost every major brand of helmet and the quality of this helmet is in a league of its own. Even a lot better than most other POC helmts. (Including the $500 full carbon Cortex DH). I'll admit the helmet is a little large, but then you have no reason to doubt its effectiveness. The versitility is great too. I can see myself using this for Mtn biking, etc.
