Ditched the BD harness, got the Petzl hotness.

I *love* this harness. I'm 5'9", 140 pounds, 30" waist, enjoy long walks on the beach and I wear a Medium in the Hirundos (and in the Petzl Sama.)

Lightweight, comfortable, great

It feels like I'm not wearing a harness at all. It weighs almost nothing at all! It's comfortable to wear whether I'm belaying, climbing, or just sitting down to rest and it's got a great range of motion. Petzl really pulled out all the stops with this one. By measurement I should be on the low half of a Medium but a Small is definitely the way to go for me. If you tend towards the low end of a size you might consider just buying one notch down.

I was previously wearing a harness (the Metolius Safe Tech Harness, actually) that made me feel like I was in thigh-tourniquet hell whenever I fell, hung, or belayed someone. I got the Hirundos on a friend's suggestion and I'm so stoked - despite the fact that the padding is minimal, it is unbelievably comfortable. Less bulk also means I'm less of a sweaty monkey on hot days. I'm a fairly small gal (5'6, 103lbs) and the XS was perfect, even though this is a men's harness.

Awesome. feather weight. I don't even notice it. Because of an elasticized triangle on the front of the leg loop, I can wear this in the summer sport climbing and over a down suit on 8000ers and still have the same great fit. Working routes can get a bit uncomfortable but that is the price to pay for excellence in nearly all other applications. Definitely in the category of "super gear". Be prepared to receive comments on the "flashy ness" of this harness.

I love this harness! It's really the best one I've ever had. It's great for in the gym or outdoors. It's got 4 gear loops for a full set of quickdraws and some gear if you need it. It's super breathable and light. I love the non-adjustable leg loops and the small belay loop. The green color on the black is also a winner. Everyone will compliment you and ask about it!

Best harness I have owned to this day.

| Its light, its comfortable, and its stylish, what more can you ask for? The color is just flat out awesome! The waist is super comfortable and breathable for those long days at the crag. The leg loops dont get in the way at all for those long stretchers. This harness is just too bad ass to write a review about...it's hands down the best harness, and quality from petzl!!! | |

Perfect sending harness. Definitely not intended for hangs or long belays. The harness also runs true to size, if not a tad small. I'm a 32/33 waist, 6'2 185 and wear a large. I love this baby at Rumney where the crowds are as thick as the flies and the humidity is tangible. Keeps me light and cool with the vented waistbelt and folded nylon loops.

Super Duper | |

It's the best harness i've worn yet for sure, and i've sported 7 harnesses so far. It's super-lite and ventilated. Petzl removed all the unimportant junk like leg buckles and created a harness that is just that and nothing more and comfortable in climbing and falls. Don't go setting routes in this harness it's not made for it. I love this harness and you will too.

light and comfortable | |

| now this is a really light harness that changes the comfort on the long days at the crag. It doesn't have leg adjustments, but I never used mines on the previous harnesses anyway. The loops are textile, but hardened (not the full plastic that hurts when you sit on it between routes), and they're perfect for quickdraw access. | |

Good harness, bad quality

| I had this harness when it was green (much cooler), and the protective webbing that connects the leg loops (where the rope goes) wore out, but petzl fixed it for free so it was all good! happened again though so ill need to send it off again. other than that its an awesome harness | |
