The Marsupial i, a nice update A |
| Rating: | |
| The Marsurial is a nice update of the standard Patagonia fleece. Two things to bear in mind when consifering this item: size and weight. Size seems to run very small. Visually the large looks like a S/M and fits the same way. My daughter is 5'6" and average size and the Women;s Large was too snall. By comparison, my Pata Snap T-Neck Large, is comfy and roomy. The fleece is lighter than my Snap T also; feels like somewhere between a light and medium weight fleece. Overall, however, this is a nice garment when you grt the right size. Yje 1/3rd length aloows easy pull0on ability and the poch pocet is handy for small. non-buly items like hand warmers, scrapers, wax, etc. A nice spin on the regular Fleece pullover. |

Great purchase. |

| I purchased this fleece pullover for a trip to Africa in the cold, damp rainy season. I wanted something I could either wear alone over a t'shirt or under my rain coat, and this fleece did not disappoint! It kept me warm and dry the entire time (and was great for plane flights too!). I am also very pleased with the fit. I am tall but a size "small" and do not feel like the length and sleeves are too short as often happens with small sizes. After several washes it still looks brand new. Now that I am back in the US and winter is approaching, I plan to wear this fleece all the time! |

| I have been shopping online for years now and I have to say that Zappos is without a doubt the best online company out there. Their site is easy and user friendly, inventory is the best, and free shipping both ways is a huge bonus. They make it so easy to shop. I've never ever had a negative experience! As for this jacket, I bought it for my daughter who had to have a Patagonia. She loves it. It fits true to size, and it is obviously very warm and comfy for our SC weather, since she barely takes it off except to wash it. Zappos Rocks! |

Love It |

| I love this warn 1/2 zip fleece. I live in a area where it get pretty cold. When I wear this fleece top it keeps me very warm and soft. I was worry about the shrinkage but it seems fine. The size stay the same. The only thing was when you wash it, it doesn't matter if you put it inside out or not. The fleece still peels so it doesn't look as new. After one wash it starts to look like you had it for a awile. Other then that I would definitly get more to keep me warm and cozy. |

| I finally replaced my marsupial of at least 10 years with a new one this Christmas. It it still one of the best fleeces on the market. The only complaint I have is that the pocket hits right at my gut- and I don't need that kind of attention if you know what I mean! The cut is a bit longer than my old one & doesn't seem as structured-as seems to be the style, It has had held up well to several washings without much pile. If you are looking for a mid layer I highly recommend this fleece. |

Very, very warm |

| I bought this fleece because I needed a cozy, knock-around-the-house-and-wear-as-an outdoors-layer fleece. I loved the idea that it had cozy, handwarmer pockets. Everything about this fleece was great...the quality construction, the pockets, the fit, and the color. The price is right, and the fast, free shipping was a bonus. However, I ended up returning it simply because it was too warm to wear around the house, and the handwarmer pockets were too bulky under a wind shell. It would be a fantastic item to wear on a cool day with no wind--which almost never happens where I live! |

| Great product by Patagonia. I got the green one and boy is it bright. Almost apple green mixed with highlighter yellow. It's fun though. This fleece keeps me warm whether I'm sitting on the couch at night or out around town. It's well cut for my shape. Only thing that doesn't make me love it 100% is the quarter zip as opposed to full zip. But then again, the quarter zip makes it feel kind of like a sweatshirt instead of a jacket. ...love it though. |

| i purchased this fleece after trying it on in a store and not wanting to take it off. i live in a wet/cold climate in alaska, so i live in fleece year-round. i particularily like the pocket on this fleece because i often need a place to warm up my hands and to put items for short periods of time when working with children. it's extra warm and great for a chilly day. |

| Bought this for my girlfriend last holiday season and she doesn't want to ever part with it. She's petite at 5'1" and has had issues in the past with finding outdoor clothing that fits her frame and doesn't have arms way too long. Size Small provides plenty of room for her to layer underneath and not too much length in the sleeves to make it look like she's wearing my hand-me-downs. |

| Soft, Snuggly, Windproof Wonderfulness. Patagonia does fleece like no other! This is the perfect fit, perfect weight, perfect performance. And I get the satisfaction of knowing this soft, cozy, wonderfully warm fleece is also recycled and recyclable. The kangaroo pouch is convenient and really large too. It extends all the way up to the beginning of the zipper. I could live in this thing! |
