The Coolmax fabric and touch of spandex in the Patagonia Lightweight Endurance Quarter Sock give it a flexible and blister-free edge over traditional, bulky trail socks. Patagonia gave the Endurance a lower cut for hot weather activity and added padding in the mid and forefoot for comfort on rocky trails. Toe-box flex zones give your feet a wide range of motion and alleviate bunching. Merino wool naturally wicks moisture and stays odor free so your feet stay dry and smell abnormally fresh.

Great warm weather sock

Rating:*****
A superior sock for warm climates. One day I hiked a couple of miles in them in 85 degree heat. When I returned I pulled my boots off and the socks were only slightly damp, they then dried completely in a matter of minutes. The fit is excellent. The odor is controlled. These are the best warm weather socks I've ever put on. I've only had them for two weeks so durability is still a question mark, but I think they'll last.

No more cotton socks!

Rating:*****
My wife bought me these for working out. After trying these socks, I have decided I will no longer by cotton socks even for warm weather. I used to associate wool with cold weather, but now I finally realized after all these years that it's great for warm weather to. Cotton may be cheaper, but my feet are worth the extra expense of merino wool. I've tried Darn Tough and Smart Wool also and decided Patagonia is my favorite.

Functional

Rating:****
This is a solid performer, and does its job well. It is competitive with the similar product from Smartwool. It holds up very well and functions over a wide temperature range. They stretch enough that a size 9 like myself can get away with either a medium or a large, depending on how much room there is in the shoe you wear them with.

Great All-Weather Running Socks

Rating:*****
These socks kept my feet cozy while running in temperatures in the teens and twenties, yet are equally great in the 40s and 50s. It hasn't been much warmer than that on my runs since I bought them, but they have been a great purchase so far. I will be getting more of these.

Socks from Heaven

Rating:*****
Though I not a 'socks person' (I wear sandals whenever possible), I find myself wearing these socks not just at work, but at home as well. I suppose they're meant for hiking, but I wear them all the time now--I've been converted. They're definitely worth the money.

lightweight and great

Rating:*****

These are definitely a step up from the traditional cycling sock that I've been wearing for years. The merino wool handles moisture really well, and seriously keeps the stink down on long rides or doubling up between laundry sessions. Great fit and awesome durability too.

Great for hiking

Rating:*****
As an eco-tour guide in Hawai'i, I use these socks exclusively. They are lightwight but very durable. I've been using these for over a year now and they are still in perfect shape. I have never had a pair of socks hold up so well.

A Great Summer Sock

Rating:****

Used these socks on both summer hikes and trail runs. Very comfortable and yet supportive. A nice mix of fabrics - wool, polyester and nylon. One down point: Even though a real smooth finish, burrs and brush that can easily snag individual yarns.

Just get rid of all your other socks

Rating:*****
I did what I said in the title review. I've recently got rid of all my socks and only wear these. They fit right and keep you comfortable. I feel.. if my feet are comfy, then the rest of me is.

The best sock around

Rating:*****
I wear these socks every day and love them. They are cushioned and absorbent. The wool helps keep them impervious to odor. The fit is snug, but not tight, which protects my foot from blisters resulting from any sock slippage.

These are very comfortable socks. They wick well to keep your feet dry. Only issue that I have had with them is the heel fabric has started to wear losing some of it's cushion. This one issue would not prevent me from getting these socks again as they are so comfortable. They are the first pairs that I go for when reaching in the drawer.

LW endurance 1/4 socks

Rating:***
These socks feel great and look good, but I'm not sure they should be called endurance socks, since they seemed to go threadbare in the heel after a couple dozen outings. If they were 2 bucks a pair it wouldn't matter...but they're not.

Comfy but weak

Rating:***

Great socks, great feel. Never sagged or slipped down. Only gripe is the longevity. One year of good use and they are wearing away underfoot. I don't think they will make it another year.
