Hiking, climbing, and even hanging in town takes it tool, so Patagonia made the Men’s Duck Pants from burly organic cotton canvas to take the abuse. You don't have to take the Duck Pants into the hills—their classic khaki style fits right in for a day at work or weekend with friends. But Patagonia made them plenty tough for a long bushwacking approach or a few pitches of offwidth climbing.

Not a ton of use yet... but not too bad.

Rating:****
I do really like these pants, they don't fit me quite as loose as my jeans but they are as loose as I would want them for actually doing stuff in. My only gripe thus far is in their stain resistance. Apparently they don't take well to collateral damage from Bondo body filler... I am afraid I got them a little to close to the action one day and now they have a pink spot on them. Kneeling on the ground has been great, all dirt brushes off and they appear quite durable. Totally happy with these pants, only trying to mess them up due to ignorance on my behalf.... THANKS!!

Nice pants

Rating:*****
A classic. Great pair of pants that are not too heavy but not too light. I have several pairs of Mountain khakis and these seem to be lighter but are just as durable. Also, the seem to look a littler more dressy than the original mk's. You should buy a pair...their sexy.

Duck Pants review

Rating:*****
Great pants. I bought them because I need some business casual wear. If I have to wear business casual you can bet it's not going to be the Gap. These fit great and look great. Plus, they are Patagonia which fits with my standard of being mountain style in the office.

My pants of choice

Rating:*****
I would rather be wearing shorts but living in the Northeast means pulling on some long pants eventually. Patagonia's Duck Pants have been my favorite for years. They wear well and feel great. And seem to always look appropiate. It's no wonder they're hard to keep in stock.

Thanks for the 30 in inseam

Rating:*****
I've been wearing the Patagonia Duck Pant for years and I've been paying a taylor to shorten the hem. It is about time Patagonia started selling the pant with a 30 in inseam. I'll keep buying them. They are comfortable and wear like iron.
James Kostenko at Altrec on 11/29/2005

Good, solid pant.

Rating:****
These are great for travel and trail, so long as it isn't too hot. The short inseam option is great for me, since most pants are 32" or longer and require a stop at the seamstress. They also work in the office.
Ranjitsinh at Moosejaw (Spring 2009) on 10/13/2009

Fit well, super comfy!

Rating:*****
These pants are as comfortable as sweats but very stylish. They are also very durable, as I bike around town a lot in them rain or shine. I just bought two more pairs, now have three. Can't get enough of them!
Matthew at Moosejaw (Spring 2009) on 09/10/2009

duck pants

Rating:*****
Excellent material, soft cotton, durably woven; slightly thinner than previous pant. cut close around the waist and generously in the leg, fits well over winter boots. i wear them hiking and to work at a school.

So far so good

Rating:****
I've only worn these pants once but they fit true to size and seem very well made. They are a little loose but not too baggy. The environmentally friendly aspect is great!

Great Pants

Rating:*****
These pants are comfortable and fit perfectly. I am glad that Patagonia started making "long" versions of the Duck Pants. I am getting ready to order another pair.

Basic Khakis

Rating:***
Nothing special about these. As far as serving their purpose of performing as a basic khaki, they succeed. Simple and a pretty lightweight material. Fit is decent, but I don't think they withstand the abuse of climbing very well. If you are just looking for a basic khaki, why not? If you are looking for anything more substantial, look elsewhere.

Good pants that dont fit well

Rating:***
They are good pants made from an ultra comfortable material. But... I usually wear a 30 waist but these fit more like a 32. The pants are also too baggy looking.
