Capilene® 3 keeps kids' warm and dry during high-activity pursuits. Worn on top or underneath, these versatile polyester performance layers breath easy, dry fast and are built from 64% recycled fibers and 100% recyclable through our Common Threads Recycling Program. Common Threads Recycling ProgramResearch shows that the environmental impact of recycling worn-out Capilene base layers into new polyester fiber is significantly lower than making that same fiber from virgin materials. Taking into account that worn-out garments are diverted from trash incinerators, making new polyester fiber from recycled garments results in an energy savings of 76% and a CO2 emissions [greenhouse gasses] reduction of 71%, versus creating that fiber from new raw material. Capilene® Core Performance®Capilene base layers afford quick-drying, next-to-skin moisture management for all activities in all conditions ? from high-altitude bivies to sun-soaked water sports. These things will keep you so warm your ass will feel like its on fire.
| Rating: | ![]() |
| Actually, I got these for my 10 year old on his "winter survival" field trip which had to be postponed because it was too "winter." When he finally got to wear them, he was all like, "Dad, these things were so warm my ass felt like it was on fire." I then asked how the field trip was and he said we had ruined his life by sending the organic hot dogs, because some kid refused to eat organic and convinced everyone that his ballpark franks were better. Mmm, ballpark. I said, hey - I bet his butt was cold. Note to the organic food industry: there is a small but growing subset of people which will eat your overpriced food if they don't know it's organic. | |

Love these! | |

| We've been purchasing capilene long underwear for our family for years, from our own younger crazy days to now when we have babies. We love them! They have warmed us and protected us over and over. From our baby daughter accidentally dunking in cold water during a canoe trip to lovely winter days skiing during heavy snowfall and cold ice-fishing with our new baby. Thank you thank you Patagonia for encouraging and supporting us in taking our babies into the woods! | |

buy these right now if you don't want to freeze your ass

| I am real tiny (160cm i don't know what that is in feet), so i bought the boy's x large, but they fit me well and they are not too tight but not too wide (i am not fat nor skinny but have some leg muscles). they are polyesther(spelling,,,whatever) so they are a lot warmer than cotton ones. I've always been wearing the cotton ones so far but from now on, these are all i'm buying | |

Great Base Layer | |

| I bought this for my 9yr old girl to go with me on winter outings and campouts. She thinks these bottoms are very warm and comfy, they also double as PJ's when on chilly nights. The fit was a bit baggy but she likes them and they fit well under her jeans. I have a set of black top/bottom on order for my 5 year old. | |

Wardrobe essential | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| These pants are a wardrobe essential. A little baggy for the kids but we like them. I think if patagonia made them slightly more narrow they wold hold the warmth in better as a layerng piece. they hold up well through many washes. We buy them year after year and hand them down. Always works out for us. | |

Awesome! | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| Hands down the best baselayer you can buy for under 100. I am an incredibly tiny human being, virtually no insulative fat to keep me warm - these put that extra bit of warmth I need into my wardrobe. Thin enough to conceal under tight fitting clothes, yet warm enough to keep me happy and content. | |

Great gear, worth every penny even for only a season.
| Rating: | ![]() |
| The perfect gear for my kids, hanging in SB in 40 degrees, in West Yellowstone at 20 degrees or 20 below. I have to buy cold-weather gear for fast-growing kids every year, and these make me more than happy to spend the money, which is not usually the case. Great stuff Patagonia and of course Moosejaw. | |
