Excellent warmth, stops wind, looks great | |

| I bought this as an extra layer for field work. It fits nicely under my peruvian hat and holds in the heat like no other. It feels thin, but that thin layer does wonders for keeping your face warm. The removable face mask is a nice touch. The only thing is your breathing may cause condensation to build up inside the face mask. It didn't really bother me... besides the fact that my breath reeked of peanut butter. If your breath is fresh, its like a little sauna for your face. Overall, awesome balaclava and worth the money in my opnion. | |

| After much searching I found this to be the best one out there; and I was right. It is breathable, warm, and waterproof! I had some difficulty with the front face piece while trying to fit a full face motorcycle helmet over it, but other than that the removable face piece is an awesome addition! It covers the neck area well. I use it for backpacking and biking in cold weather, but would also do well skiing. | |

| I recommend this to anyone that wants to stay warm in VERY cold temps. Only thing is, I lost the face mask part and that really stinks. So In a way I wish it was attached instead of just Velcro, but then again I am good at losing stuff all the time! | |
