Lovin it

Rating:*****

Got this jacket in black and it goes with all my gear perfectly. I heard that Oakley's "regular fit" is a bit baggy so I sized down and it fits me perfectly. Despite what other people say about how the magnets are annoying, I think it's one of the best features. I guess it's kind of a love it or hate it type of thing? Anyway I like them cause it allows me not to have to zip up each time, I just throw the two sides of the jacket together and it snaps shut by itself. Also, the hood has a magnet so on jumps or bumpy terrain the hood doesn't annoyingly pop up. Oakley really puts a lot of though into their jackets and pants, I highly recommend them for any of your snowboard clothing gear. Plenty of pockets for all your random crap, and plenty of vents to keep you at the perfect temperature when you're going down the slopes.

What you would expect from Oakley

Rating:****

Went to Zermatt, Switzerland to get some early season snowboarding in one the glacier and used this jacket for the first time. Very happy with the functionality of this product. Pockets are deep and plently, love the fleece liner that keeps the zipper from rubbing your neck when zipped all the way up. Magnets in the hood to keep in place when not using very strong. Only problem is with the bungie cord loops and buttons that are used to secure the liner to the shell...not exactly "user friendly" ripped a button off the shell trying to untangle the liner sleeve as it had come out of the liner but was still attached. Liner durable and looks good worn separatley (Cactus color). Have not worn shell enough to assess durability but initally seems very durable.

Pretty Stoked

Rating:****

I'm really stoked on this jacket. looks really great, has lots of pockets and is steezy as hell. the one downside is the size. I'm 6'3", 180 pounds, so i'm a tall and skinny guy. Got the XL cuz i wanted a baggy fit, and am pretty happy with it. Its long enough, and has really long sleeves. However, it is massively wide, definitely made for a much bigger (wide) guy than me. If i could do it again, i would get a L, just because the XL is soooooo roomy. But i'm fine repping it, just makes me look a lil more thug than i was going for.

Assault Jacket Working out Great!

Rating:****

I really like this jacket. I was a little worried when I ordered because I read the sizes run big, which is true. The large fits just right (I normally wear an XL). The only thing I don't like is the liner jacket. My sleeves kind of stick to it when putting it on and its too tight to wear as a jacket by itself. The outer shell is awesome. Very useful when skiing. Plenty of pockets and accessories that come in handy when on the slopes. It also looks great. I have received numerous compliments on the jacket.

Great Jacket

Rating:*****

Bought it from Backcounty. Perfect service! Fast delivery! The jacket is great. The best I ever had in my life. Warm and very well though through. The magnets are great, the collar is soft, several pockets and excellent fit. Didn't find any flaws yet. I'm taking this jacket to Far East of Russia in March with really low temperatures and a lot of snow! And I'm quite confident that the jacket will do the job really well. Thanks Oakley and Backcountry!

What a score

Rating:*****

Caught it on TD with the liner for around 90 bucks delivered. It's an amazing jacket at that price. Great fit. Cool Cactus color actually complements the unmatchable Volcom Trobson pants. I am super happy on this purchase and my friends are all in a jealous rage.

Bomb

Yo this is a legit jacket. Really warm, waterproof, and stylish. The liner would be nice if it was a fleece instead of the material they use, but it still is warm and is wearable without the jacket. For the price it's a pretty good Oakley product.

Great Jacket

Kept me warm in the French Alps even without the lining. Gave it a 4 because the pitzips are slightly annoying...

Loose fit means really long arms too

Rating:***

I just got the jacket and it's not just the body/chest that's big. The arms are really long too. I'm 6'3", 190 lbs and I got the large. It's not surprising that it is too big in the chest/body for me, but arm length in a shirt or jacket has never been an issue for me. These are the longest arms I've seen in a large shirt or jacket. Not surprisingly, the chest/body is too big on me too. The body length seems pretty normal. The style and functionality of the jacket seem great and it looks great in the cactus (green) color. I'll agree with the guy who said the liner jacket material sticks to other material and makes it hard to get on over long sleeves, but that's just a first impression, since I haven't even really worn the jacket yet. I'll qualify my review by saying that I'm a 30 something skier who is not going for the loose/baggy look of most younger snowboarders.

Good jacket, annoying pit-zippers

Rating:***

I wore this jacket on a two-day ski trip and it kept me really dry and warm. However, one of the zippers in the venting section got stuck on the mesh material there and the only way to get it unstuck was to rip part of the material -- very annoying since I now have a large hole in one of the venting sections. The sizing is loose and relaxed. Also note that the jacket is fairly heavy due to all the zippers and magnets and the durable exterior material.

Eh

Rating:***

Jacket looks great and functions well but the sizing is off. I got a medium and the jacket is huge. My biggest complaint is the liner. The material it is made out of sticks to everything, in order to put the coat on easily you have to wear short sleeve shirt. Even underarmor cold gear kept sticking to it. Would be better if the sleeves were lined with another material.
