Inspired by the pro team, the K2 Believer Snowboard gives you the power to sack up and send it. The Believer's super-fast Sintered 4000 base screams down the hill like a banshee with a death wish, and K2's Hyper Progressive sidecut delivers predictable turns and a smooth ride to keep you from actually dying. Dual torsion forks help you pop off cornices like a bottle rocket, while a super-lightweight multi-core tapers toward the nose and tail to reduce swing weight for easier, faster rotations.

| So, I really just got this board to check out the Flatline tech. I'd ridden camber, ridden rocker, so I wanted to see what it would be like to ride the line down the middle: the flatline (I don't think that was the product line, but I apologize if I stole that from K2). It has been a jolly good time so far - more fun than swimming in a pool full of spaghetti (and that was one lady's dying wish, so that is saying something, right?). For starters, totally softer than I was expecting. I suck at buttering and pressing with any sort of style, but this board makes me feel like Merlin or Thor, or maybe Thorlin. Not saying I am busting nosepresses down ulta-thirty kinks over pits of death, but I have been able to flex this out pretty easy. But, on the other hand this board still seemed to have a lot of pop off the kickers I have been riding so far this season. I haven't taken it off anything huge. But my excuse is that the Summit hasn't put up anything big yet, but there is always the chance I just don't have the minerals. Regardless, this spun well; felt light and poppy. Unfortunately, the lovely rain we've been having has kept me from being able to enjoy this in anything resembling the fluffy stuff. So, I don't have much to say yet about the board in the cushy stuff but still hoping for it. If anything, this has a sweet base graphic, so if you are dropping cliffs with steezed-out methods people will notice. I have to say it: I'm a believer in the Believer. -sean | |

sick board | |

| This is a sick board. I just got it and I love it. The Carbon Matrix I torsion forks are amazing. I had sick pop of the jumps, but they do take a lot of time to get used too. This may be because my old board sucks and I was just not used to it. The board was also ready to ride right out of the box. The edges were fine on the rails and boxes. One other bad thing is the top sheet gets messed up easy when someone runes over it in line | |

One board quiver | |

| The Believer is excellent board for the advanced rider who spends most of his time freeriding but makes the occasional foray into the park. The board is smooth, aggressive and versatile. The only con I had when testing it was that at high speeds it wasn't as stable as other boards with similar flex patterns. But this is a small drawback as I'm taking about speeds that would get your pass pulled at any ski area that wasn't specifically shut down for testing before I noticed even the slightest instability. | |

fun all-arounder | |

Rode for the last 2 years. Fun pretty much in any condition. Broke both of them. My brother broke 2 of them as well. K2 replaced them with no drama. Good on you K2! Sorry I can't land properly off of park jumps. Going with Slayblade this year. Hopefully it's like the Zeppelin. That was always my favorite all-around board. 4-5 ft possible in the cascades out of this storm. Gotta go wax!

| got a crack on the nose of my Ride dh so had to get a new board. I am happy with my decision and would definitely give my seal of approval for this board if you like all mountain riding. Good for the bowls, powder, park or back country kickers. The best part is the stability as you are bombing a less then fresh/smooth bowl. | |

TransworldSnow #1 GoodWood pick over$400
| Rating: | ![]() |
| Yse indeed. TransWorld Snowboarding picked this board in their blind "Good Wood" board test. Voted #1 over $400. Definitely lives up to the awards. Great board that I ride all over the mountain. Perfect flex and lots of carbon to make it responsive and add pop. I ride it everywhere. Park, groomers, powder and it's ridiculously fun in all conditions. | |

had the 157 '07 model and it was pretty solid used it for several seasons but it was cut down in its glory due to a pretty big crash. no so great with the park but i recomend this board to intermediate/advanced riders.
