K2 Apache Raider + Marker M2 11.0 Twincam Bindings 2009: If versatility were next to godliness, you can bet K2’s Apache Raider Skis would be found cavorting with Zeus & co. on Olympus. These skis are aimed at the all-mountain skier who likes to float fluidly between groomed and off-piste pow. Built using K2’s proven Recon chassis, the K2 Apache Raider features dampening MOD Technology and Torsion Box Construction to create the kind of control and confidence fascist dictators would envy.

Features:

  • MOD TECHNOLOGY: The ultimate in modern ski design. MOD combines an elastomeric secondary core that works as a high-performance suspension system and mass damper to provide the highest degree of ease, power, forgiveness and performance.
  • Men’s specific MOD Monic: By embedding the solid 25 gram zinc mass into the Men’s Apache series, test teams found skis had a smoother ride because vibrations were lessened.
  • TORSION BOX CONTROL: The Torsion Box Construction is the foundation for the widest range of skis designed by K2. The Raider Skis share the common traits of ease, forgiveness, responsiveness, and energy that can be found in all Torsion Box skis.
  • TRIAXIAL BRAIDING: This unique method produces skis that have a great deal of torsional rigidity and strength, while maintaining all the lively characteristics of a wood core ski.

love this ski

Rating:*****
I love this ski, I want to find something wrong with it to justify its low price, but nothing at this time. I have had a lot of fun going anywhere and doing anything on this ski. I have been skiing for about 20 years and can ski anything in Michigan and just about everything in bounds out west
