| There is no way to make humidity magically go away. For an air dryer to work, it must extract the moisture and collect it or drain it to the outside. The manufacturer gets away with selling this because warmer air does indeed hold more moisture than cold air. Notice the description is carefully worded -- prevents mold on WALL surfaces. In other words, if the unit is placed on the floor against a wall, no mold will form on the WALL DIRECTLY ABOVE THE UNIT. True dat. From the Mfr.
