Inno Fork Rack | |

I actually have the Fork Rack II, but the difference between these two are minor. I had to mount the rack rearwards on my stock 2009 Pontiac Vibe "aero" style crossbars (due to the hatchback clearance). Other than having to shorten the mounting bolts, installation was a breeze. The locking mechanism is plastic, so I always use a cable lock when my bike will be unattended for long periods of time. I also remove the front skewer and rear ratchet strap when I am not using the rack. Overall, the rack is very stable. The front skewer is very beefy. There is no cam lock on the rear ratchet strap, but you can still get it tight enough by hand. The only flex I get is from my stock crossbars. 4/5 because the locking mechanism could be better.

good value - sturdy rack

Mounted to Lexus RX. The stock cross bars are really wide so I had some concerns, but it fit just fine. Only problem is the front mounting bolts hit the sunroof on tilt/vent. I may try to mount it backwards & see if that works better. The rack is very sturdy & I've already used it for a couple of long trips with no problems. It works equally well with both a mountain bike (with 2.25's) & a road bike. The locking piece is plastic, so it's a little sketchy - it's fine for stopping & grabbing a bite, but don't leave your bike on it overnight.

Good if you don't have big tires

I made the mistake of not trying to find detailed specs on these things. Out of the box, these things feel very stable and beefy. For the price, they are good since they come with locks. The only thing is they probably will not fit bigger than 2.1 tires (if even 2.1s). I have 1.95s and plan to size up. The 1.95s fit well, but it looks like there isn't much room for any more tire. If you roll 2.1s or lower and want racks for a value, these are a good deal with the 50% off promotion going on right now.

Great for the price | |

This is a terrific, simple to install, do-what-it-says piece of equipment. No frills, the back latch doesn't lock, but the fork mount works great. It took me about 10 minutes to put this on my rack. It may not be the burliest rack mount out there, but for the price this one's tough to beat. Four stars b/c it's not world class, but it'll serve your needs.

Great Rack | |

Installed directly to an outback. Fits perfect, very stable, does not interfere with rear door and it looks great. Mounting the bike is very easy. Would definitely recommend to anyone. The only thing I would recommend is a steel locking mechanism. If I was in a bad neighbor hood I would probably use a cable lock also. Boo to Thule and all their proprietary accessories.
