Awesome

Rating:*****

It's been said, the camera is amazing.
Some things I have found:
It loves bright days.(the quality of vid on a sunny day is seriously awesome)
It's pretty easy to work(on/off, start/stop recording) on the helmet after a day or so of use.
I am basically new when it comes to any sort of filming but you have to be pretty close to what you want to record to get a quality shot.(I assume this is because of the widescreen but again I am new)
If planning to edit I think the vids have to be converted out of the H264 format of mp4. Still working on that though.

Love the camera I highly recommend it.

Great cam for the money

Rating:*****

I was quite surprised at the quality of the video from this cam especially for the price.

it actually does deliver the resolution and the frame rates as advertised. Of all the video settings, i usually end up only sampling in mode 3 because it is plenty good enough and makes more room on the sd card. I have an old class 2 card and it works fine at this setting.

i own a POV.1 camera as well. the gopro def takes the cake with video quality and simplicity in its package.

i have not tested the water-proofness of the case yet, but it seems very solid. the quick release is great as well.

Nothing Like IT

Rating:*****

This camera is an unreal option in it's price range, and the quality of the camera. It doesn't skip a beat. I use the 720 60P and convert it to DVCPRO 720-60P the slow motion looks amazing after Conforming it to 24P in Cinema Tools. If you love to document your adventures you really can't go wrong with this amazing camera. If you are looking to use the audio don't even bother. But the quality of the shots is well worth it. I will be posting footage from the camera.

The Sickest Quality out there

Rating:*****

So not only is the GoPro Small Light and insanely durable, but the image quality is just insane! You can practically see the type of snow crystals that are forming in the snow.
The only area I see where the Gopro could improve is in it's LCD menu which can be frustrating at times as it seems to Jump out of video mode when you turn it on, but this could be user error. All and all this is an awesome new toy that I won't leave home without!!

Getting with the high times

Rating:*****

I just recently got the HD Gopro after using the normal hero wide camera. I figured it was time to get with the high definition times. One of the best features on it other than the better video quality is the rechargeable battery; no more need to waste tons of money on triple A batteries like the old one. Aside from that, it works flawlessly on the slopes or anywhere you wanna take it.

LOVE our NEW TOY

Rating:*****

Well we have this and the standard def wide lens.. this new one is 110% better than the standard def wide lens. Such a clear image! The one thing that does suck is when you turn it on or off it moves from video mode to other ones. Well its alright other than that LOVE IT!!

Amazing Little Camera

Rating:*****

Got this as a Christmas present for the BF and it's a winner! The picture quality is amazing and the videos are great even in changing light conditions. I'll attach an example of the pictures it takes with high light and shadows in the same shot.

Amazing

This camera is so easy to use and the integration on the web or the editing with iMovie on a Mac is so easy that it's my #1 filming choice for my outdoor activities. By far the best hardware for bike POV!

Took me about ten minutes playing around with it to figure out how to switch modes/resolutions etc. Hopefully I'll come up with some screenshots or something after I really get to use it.

having trouble

Rating:*

having trouble recording with this camera. It blinks red three times then stops, adds a number to the counter but nothing is recorded. sometimes it works but mostly it doesn't especially when I'm outside. Now I know sometimes cameras don't work in the cold but if I can't use this thing skiing then its isn't worth a dime to me.....bummer
