VERY comfortable. They feel "spongy". If you have a somewhat more narrower foot than average (you know who you are) but you usually don't get narrow sizing, I DO recommend it for this shoe. Great for walking AND running. Goes with pretty much everything in your wardrobe. Just a really good shoe!

Comfort and nice fit - I doubted first to order online, since I hate the return policies. I have medium to wide feet and flat feet. This seemed to work fine, I was happy to see the varieties on med sizes. Possible to order again.

The Columbia Beartooth S8 - I got these for a work/hiking shoe. No breaking-in required. They feel a little wide, but only came in medium--so a bulkier sock will solve any width problems--and I like a heavier sock for hiking anyway.

Cute hiking shoe! Very lightweight and well built. They do run small though; order a half size larger than what you normally wear! I also noticed the heel is a little wide, nothing a thick sock couldn't fix.

OK shoe - This shoe is wider in width than anticipated. The heel box is slightly wide too and hard to adjust the laces so the heel does not slide up and down.
