So far so GREAT! |

| Bought this for my 2 year old 55-60lb German Shorthair. I purchased the large based off of the recommendations from weimariner owners and I am sure glad I did. Although Sofie is SUPER skinny her broad rib cage would not be able to fit into a smaller size which can give her some room to fill out in other areas as well. Last year I got her a Ruff Wear Cloud Chaser because she gets REALLY cold easily and I snowshoe with her so I wanted her to last. She grew out of the RWCC and this was a great change, price was much better than reasonable and about half the cost of the RW coat. Also, the Columbia coat surrounds her body in the soft shell material then is lined with fleece vs the RW coat which only has the soft shell material on the top half and another fabric (which got wet and cold) on the underbelly. The other nice thing about the columbia coat is the zipper is a waterproof zipper. The RW coat is a normal zipper with a flap over the top. Great Job Columbia!!! Great Coat, great price... will probably get another soon so that 5 years from now I'll have one when this one gets too worn (if possible) |

Stop looking - this is it! |

| I can't stand when people put clothes on dogs! That said, I felt really bad for my best buddy when we went on those pre-dawn walks with temps in the teens or single digits and I was all geared up in my ski stuff he was.. well.. not. So it was with great trepidation that I ordered this coat. I was pleasantly surprised! Leave it to the peeps at Columbia to design a cool doggy softshell! The fit is snug, but its stretchy and not restrictive at all, and seems to move with him. The zipper is waterproof and designed to not pinch or catch the fur. Its rugged enough to offer some protection while he runs through the woods, it has full belly coverage(most coats dont), its waterproof, and my dog seems to actually like wearing it! The reflective piping and space to hook through onto a harness are nice touches. The only way I can suggest it might improve is to offer a zip out liner like the people jackets. Just the shell for rainy days, shell and liner for the cold days. Overall though, I think this jacket is well worth it. |

Snazzy Coat for Meg |

| Bought this for my growing pup. Meg is a 5 mo. old McNab, a Border Collie/basque sheperd bred dog at 25# now and wears the Medium - it's a little large on her now but she'll grow into it. Wanted it for our foggy damp winters in No. CA. It fits the bill - Being a short haired dog I wanted her to be warm and dry and it works so well! Constructed as well or better than my own coat it is truly easy to get on and will last for years. Its a great product! Hope she fits in it for as long as it lasts. Agree with other reviewers about the fine zippers, good construction and stretchy neck band - all good features.Read prior reviews for more great reviews adn buy this quick before it's gone! |

Awesome Coat for Large/Active Dogs |
| Rating: | |
| This is a great coat for my large-chested dogs (Weimaraner and Weim/Lab mix). Very easy to put on and seems to stay in place pretty well. I did order a 2XL for my 85lb. dogs after reading reviews. The chest area fits great and just a hair long down the back. The only part that seems to wear quickly is the very front that does not have the shell material on it. I use easy walk harnesses and have to put them on over the coat because the loop in in the front/chest area, so it kind of wears down on this polyester type material. Hopefully lasts through the winter. Dogs coats for large dogs that are warm and water proof are ridiculously expensive. These coats are great at an outstanding price. |

helpful reviews ensured the right fit |

| My Brittney Spaniel has a thin coat and at 7 years old she was beginning to fuss during long winter walks. BUT not with this on. She prances when we walk and has not headed back to the car after 15 min in the same temp range - less than 30 to 0. Sizing is tricky! Measure your dog first and expect a snug fit that will stretch out a little with use. I ordered Medium for her -which fits perfect (see photos) but in my mind she is a smaller sized dog (29 lbs) and in my experience most M have been too big. When I read the reviews I made sure to measure her and M is her perfect size. |

I couldn't sew ones for this price |

| We have 3 dog Chi/mixes and 1 weimaraner. They all have short hair and thought these would be good to keep them warm and dry. And with this price we couldn't beat it. Once they arrived I immediately put them on. When my husband went to take them off of the males he notice the dogs were wet. The fabric wasn't cut high enough on the male dogs, so i just cut and big enough opening. Works great, no more wet dogs. Our wein. lives in hers, she is 14+ and is cold all the time. I feel the size runs just a tad short on our females. It a few inches shy of there tail. Otherwise we love them. |

A Dog's Delight! |

| After reading the reviews, I ordered both the x-small and small to try on my Shih Tzu. Although the x-small fit perfectly, I let her hair grow longer in the winter and therefore, kept the small. I'm glad that I made that choice. The first time I put the "adventure" coat on her, she was a little unsure about it but since then, she struts as soon as it goes on! It's a great rain coat - a real lifesaver for a long-haired dog. For the coldest days, I think that she'll need something a bit warmer. The harbor color is a beautiful shade. The price and quality are unbeatable! |

Great Coat ! |

| I bought one for each of my two Brittanys for hunting in cold, wet weather. One of my dogs is tall and skinny and one is stockier and broader. My only concern is that, while it fits the stockier dog perfectly, the coat seems to cover up my other dog's private area which makes it difficult for him to urinate while wearing it. I might end up having to alter his coat. Otherwise, after trying numerous coats, I think this one is the best as far as ease of putting on and quality. |

Really nice coat |

| This is a very nice coat made of good quality material and with good workmanship. Even with all the other comments about sizing, I ordered a size too amall for my 30 lb. terrier/beagle mix. Medium was not large enough in the chest. [...] I will reorder, because I think he will really like it, once he gets it on. My husband liked it so well, I orderd a human coat by Columbia for him. Don't think they will wear theirs at the same time, though. |

Fabulous for winter weather |

| This arrived on a snowy, windy Nor'easter day where my Pomeranian mix hadn't been wanting to go out. Once this arrived, I couldn't get her to come in! I especially loved the fact that it kept her chest and belly warm and dry. The quality is superb. All the zippers are waterproofed. It is easy to put on and doesn't restrict her movement. She is 13.2 lbs and 17.5 inches long and the medium is great. Thanks for offering such a wonderful product! |
