These pants are the unparalleled compatriot to the RPK jacket, but there's no reason they can't stand alone. The hybrid face fabric is a soft to the touch Gore-Tex material that sheds the waist deep stashes without contemplation. While the mechanical stretch and soft hand give the outer face a great feel, the interior brushed tricot acts like a microfleece without the bulk. Subtly roomy freestyle inspired lines and cut. To-the-hip side vents dump heat when skinning out the gate or hiking the Headwall. The internal stretch gaiters, reinforced scuff guards and thigh stash pocket keep it all together for extended days of hitting the best lines.
Bottom Line: You're lines take you down the chutes, swiping the trees, and through the pristine stashes. These are your pants.

First day out with the RPK pants--couple feet of fresh snow and actively snowing at Solitude. Medium fit me perfectly (6'0, 175#, 33 x 32 pant typically). Definitely a bit stiff, but seemed to soften a bit by the end of the day. Kept me completely dry and warm. Large burly cuffs give good protection. | |
