Excellent mountain bike for the money | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| This is my first 29" mountain bike. From the initial test ride it was night and day better than my old 26". The 29er rides smooth and fast. Rolls over rough South Carolina terrain much easier than a 26". Love the smooth hydraulic disc brakes. Note: specs show 185 mm front rotor but that was preliminary specs and according to Cannondale, all production units came with 160 mm front and back. Still good braking power but a heavier rider may choose to upgrade to a 185 mm front for even more braking power. I did and I am very pleased with it. Summary: This bike is well set up for the price. | |

Great Bike | |

| Great bike. I ride some pretty aggressive off-road stuff and I've even commutted in the snow a few times. It's got a great stable feel on the most difficult terrain. The wheelbase is a little long though (I ride an XL) so it doesn't corner so great, but it makes up for that in overall stability. | |
