The label says 'I just came off the trail' the style says 'bring my cognac over by the fire.' |

| This looks and feels like wool it is a wool/cotton/poly blend which is a nice balance to all the super technical wind stopper stuff out there. I would not take this on the trail - and at its price it was kind of an indulgence because it's not exactly versatile. I don't think it could handle rocks and scrapes too much and I wouldn't want to test its water repellency. It's also roomier than you'd expect from Acrteryx. But... it's warm, doesn't look FLEECE like and it's kinda retro in a way because of the wool texture. |

You may never take it off |

| I live in this jacket. Its casual enough for a dressed up dinner date and stylish enough for your Friday night outtings. It is super warm and almost completely windproof. The surface tends to twill a little. The cut is perfect, it is a great fitting jacket. There are only two hand pockets on the jacket, but you probably wont find yourself needing more. I love it so much I bought an extra one so that 10 years from now I'll have a fresh brand new one (just in case they stop making it before then!) |

fantastic Coat or Cardigan |

| This is a fantastic Coat/Cardigan. It is well made, extremely comfortable and warm. The price is steep but I feel the quality is on par with that high price. I also own the Regent, both are great however I really appreciate the fact that the Gothic has a liner and much better wool. I will say that the Gothic is more like a coat to me than a sweater/cardigan. |

warm, smart, neat layer, arcteryx is the best of the best quality |

| gave this to hubby, he wears it more than anything. skateboarding, skiing, walking, jumping off things he shouldn't be jumping off, pilled a tiny bit in high rub areas, but he did wear it with a leather jacket that has some catchy bits of stuff in the lining. would buy another one in two shakes. classic, good with wear and tear. |

Nice Jacket! |

| Really nice quality and great materials. This is my first Arc'teryx product and I really like the fit and feel. I took the safe road and ordered a large rather than a medium and I'm glad I did. I got sick of everyone wearing North Face Denali's, so I went with Arcteryx and love it. |

| The quality is there 100%, non technical.. casual.. the soft micro fleece liner is super soft and extremely comfortable.. for me a bit short in length... so check your fit before you buy if you can. If you are looking for a casual piece you can wear anyplace.. this is it! |

best sweater/jacket thing ever. |

| i liked this a lot by the picture alone, but the real thing is fantastic, the wool is super warm, and there is a super soft lining inside that is very nice. the cuffs of the sleeve and the neck are also really soft, which makes this one fine jacket. |

| NIce casual piece to wear anywhere. Get comments everywhere you go. From town to work to ski hill. Overall arc'teryx quality that you come to expect and deserve for the price. Altrec customer service is the best out there. |

Excellent jacket at a fair price. |

| Wool, although relatively heavy, makes a great insulator. This jacket is simple and straight to the point. Tight neck and hand opening keeps the warm air in. Nice touch. Jackets on the pricey side, but worth it. |
